The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District’s preliminary determination that the proposed Hydrogen Energy California facility meets all local air quality regulations.

The California Energy Commission’s early evaluation of the HECA project finding that the 250-MW power plant planned for western Kern County would comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, regulations and standards and would not have significant adverse environmental impacts on the areas studied.

HECA’s peaking engagement at the California State University Bakersfield second Expert Workshop on Carbon Capture Storage where local and national experts discussed the deployment of CCS.

HECA’s recent coverage in a New York Times article and a Bakersfeild Californian op-Ed that discussed the environmental and economic benefits of the HECA CCS project in California.

The project team’s continued actions in the Community through sponsorship of academic and social events in Kern County.
